Ok so I haven’t been updating this blog but yes, I’m still here.  I’ve been around but as you can see not on this blog.

Anyhoo, I’ve had to scratch a few items of my list temporarily and with good reason. In the place of those items I’ve been doing some research on Autism since my youngest son has got the diagnosis. To All The Fathers Out There…May You Have A Joyous Father’s Day Sunday!

So we are into the new year. I’m still moving forward and things are beginning to fall into place. YES!!! I feel good.

I’ll be settled into my new home by months end, I’m so excited…my baby boy will finally be in school, after months of phone calls and still no definite diagnosis…The Spirited Divas are back in motion and still on a mission…among other things…Life is good. Once I’m settled down completely it’ll be back to the classroom to complete my degree goal.

Sade introduced her new coming “back” out song “Soldier of Love” so I have adopted that as my new theme song of the year…Not only do I love the Sade sound but the words, well, they describe me and keep me going. I have to say…“SAY IT GIRL!!!” Check it out…

Yep, yet another year is falling upon us quickly. As my dear grandmother used to say “thank the good lord” that I am able to once again see it arrive.

Ok, so this year (o9′) was a struggle for me. It seemed for every up I had…there was a down. I am determined not to let any downs hold me down in 2010. I’ve got to move forward and “get er done” and I shall.

So now is where I start thinking about my New Years… “Resolution(s)“:

“a resolve or determination”

Well…hmmm, this coming year I am going to be very determined to reach a few goals and to resolve what ever issue I’m having with a particular goal which prevents me from not being able to complete it, personal or business…you know…push it out of the way. How’s that for a resolution? Yes, I like it .

I think that sums it all up. So in 2010…Nita, will “get er done”, no matter what. 2010 will be my year for no excuses…just do it!!!

So now, all that’s left is to take out my goal note book (everyone should have one of these) and write down my 2010 goals. This shall be done tonight…tweaked by New Years eve and ready for me to start my “New” resolution for the New Year .

Well it is officially Christmas Eve. I have now settled down after my usual last minute Christmas shopping run. Waiting for the kids to settle down for the night…although that may take a long while…lol.

I want to wish everyone who reads this a very Merry Merry Christmas.

As with everyday…I give thanks to the one above, for if it wasn’t for him and his love there would be no celebration. As the saying goes…he’s the reason for the season…Thank you, Jesus.

May each and every one of you have a wonderful blessed filled day tomorrow with lots of joy and laughter.

The other day my oldest son, Hernando, who I must say, even as a child always had to have something to do or he’d go crazy, lol… anyway he recently announced he was going for his Master’s. As always I’m proud that he is reaching for the stars and looking toward gaining his full potential. He’s 22, a graduate of The University of Michigan and is a 2nd LT in the Army…in other words he’s doing “the doggon thang”. His accomplishments throughout his young life are far more than just those.

I have to give GOD all his glory for his guidance and cannot leave out my two beautiful parents who stepped up when I needed them and helped raise him to be the man he is today (thank you, mom and dad )…but to get to the point of this post…

I want to share with you a note he sent me through Facebook. As he always does, I guess he was thinking of those things that make him who he is and what he is not. It touched me and I absolutely feel where he’s coming from with these words. I’ll share it below.

I just want to tell my son…I love you and always believe you are the person you are…don’t let anything or anyone stand in your way of getting to the place that you want to be…continue to grow and know your worth…let your greatness always shine through.

She finally did it!!! And I have to admit I am so so proud of her. After a couple of years going through the journey of “getting er’ done”…it’s done.

Ok so here I am once again. This time, not only have I revamped my blog but I also have a brand spanking new domain name…woo hoo. I really am digging this theme. It’s more fun and colorful.

I thought I’d get things started a couple weeks before the new year. So many things have happened this year, I don’t know where to begin. But I will say 2010 will be a brand new start for NITA…YES!!!
